The Harry Houdini of the Bush Administration

Surprise, surprise. Condi Rice's book is the most anticipated from the Bush team.

I wanted so much to like her when I came to the Bush White House. And she was extremely appealing. I wonder if she'll talk about how she made a deal with North Korea that even the Obama team is walking back from. Or how she urged President Bush not to call for the release of an Egyptian political prisoner jailed for the "crime" of running against Egypt's dictator. Or how she played a central role in a lot of the decisions on Iraq that were later attacked (and which she escaped blame from.)
